Writing is part of my art practice and a service I offer. My experience spans writing interviews for SNOG magazine, press releases for group shows, artist statements, exhibition open calls and more. I am in the process of finalising this website… for now, to see a writing sample of an artist statement please click here: Charlie Howell.

I am experienced in editing artist writing, fact checking and drafting. I was involved in the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) young poets showcase in 2024. I started and then co-ran an art writing group at Goldsmiths University from 2024-2025.

I write artists statements, bios, and exhibition reviews. I am open to other freelance writing and editing work and commissions. Please contact me olivemardon@icloud.com if you are interested in discussing my writing services further, and for a current portfolio of written work! (:
